About this Property

At the entrance to the sumptuous Vendée coastline, just across from the Ile de Ré, Longeville-sur-Mer is a magical seaside resort and this stunning modern villa built some 10 years ago is just a minute's walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

The main living area is on the first floor with an almost wrap-around glass balcony with views over the pool and spa towards the forest and dunes. There is a large living, dining room and kitchen area, and another smaller cosy living room.
Downstairs are 3 good sized bedrooms and a master suite with shower and WC, each with its own access to the pool and garden area. There is also another shower room and a large family bathroom with walk-in shower and large bath.
The whole house feels as though you are living outside because there are large windows and glass doors throughout, and terraces all around to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Outside in the mature garden is a pool, a spa and a barbecue/fire pit with seating area. There is also a garage. The village of Longeville-sur-Mer is just a short walk.

Whether as a holiday home, a permanent residence, or an investment opportunity this contemporary property is perfectly located and early viewing is highly recommended!

Testimonials

    Testimonial by Andrew Cotton

Having decided to go ahead with our plan to buy an investment property in France, we initially tracked the market across a number of websites and across a wide area covering the Dordogne and the Lot regions. It quickly became clear that the responses we received from the Beaux Villages team were the most helpful and, based on some discussions about what we were looking for, we were able to put an initial viewing trip together. Based on this viewing trip, we narrowed the geographic area of our search and Beaux Villages became the leading agent we spoke to, including arranging some visits to see properties that were not exclusively listed with them, which made the viewing trips easy to arrange and manage. After a second viewing trip, we found our dream property, albeit at a price which was a little over our budget. At this point, the Beaux Villages team helped us navigate the process of understanding what the different stages of the offer and purchasing process would be, what the fees for each aspect would be and allowed us to put together an offer which was rejected initially, but some months later secured us a property we are really pleased, and sometimes a little amazed, to now own. Without the input of Judith Whitlow [, and her husband Kevin,] we would have not had the confidence to navigate the process successfully. Their input, from the initial offer all the way through to the couple of weeks after our purchase went through (when dealing with some of the issues which arise when buying a property abroad), was clear, pragmatic and incredibly helpful. Based on their experience having lived in France for some time and the clarification they could therefore offer on issues which were sometimes difficult to understand and assess, we felt very comfortable making decisions about what is a very significant investment for us. I warmly recommend Judith to anyone considering purchasing a property in France – without them, we would have had a much more difficult time getting to completion.
